Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) is a Commercial Banking business located in 117 offices across the US and Canada. MMBSI provides credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Banking and Specialized Industries teams. Core Banking teams generally focus on clients with annual revenues of $20 million to $500 million. Multinational Corporations (MNC) is a national specialty group within Middle Market Specialized Industries in Commercial Banking, and covers the US subsidiaries of companies headquartered outside the US. The sales range for the US subsidiaries we bank is typically from $50 million to $500 million, but can range from $20 million to over $2 billion. Our local delivery model, coupled with the firm's global resources, allows us to provide clients with customized, comprehensive solutions and exceptional service.
The Multinational Corporations team based is seeking a Commercial Banker, Associate to be based in Seattle, WA supporting efforts in Washington, Oregon and Northern California to assist in developing foreign-owned business in the Pacific Segment.
As a Commercial Banker, Associate on the MNC team, your primary goal is to grow and retain profitable relationships. Under direct supervision of more senior bankers, you will work to deliver value added solutions to clients. Individuals in this position have developed the experience to function as the lead on smaller accounts and as the secondary banker on larger clients. Your primary role will be to originate and manage profitable relationships within the segment. This is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship.
This role is the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships; Bankers work both independently and as part of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. As a Banker, you are responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within the MMBSI target space (companies with revenues between $20 and $100 million). Our Bankers are required to have deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions. Our strongest Bankers have a methodical approach to the market activity and prospecting. MMBSI delivers locally and therefore our ideal candidate has deep local connections and market knowledge. Bachelors degree required
3+ years with above average performance results in a similar banking role or credit/lending related experience.

Demonstrated ability to develop and retain new and profitable relationships in a highly competitive environment.
Ability to assess risks inherent in complex credit transactions and mitigate, structure and negotiate accordingly.
Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its competitive landscape preferred.
