JPMorgan Chase Product Delivery Customer Interaction Utility Senior Associate in Seattle, Washington

As an experienced member of the Customer Interaction Utility product team, you'll shape the technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the Firm. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, and then translate those insights into high-quality solutions. In addition to working with the development team to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities.

While your role requires deep technological skills - including expertise in everything from data management to functional design - it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. Working with the product lead, you will ensure product alignment with a diverse and sometimes conflicting set of business use cases across multiple stakeholders in a way that supports a strategic capability for the firm. You will also be encouraged to make data-driven decisions and utilize industry-leading technologies, in collaboration with our data science and technology partners.

The candidate must have the ability to partner with stakeholders throughout the firm to understand their needs, and then design and develop robust solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of JPMorgan Chase businesses and the underlying technological infrastructure, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to producing high quality results.

You will work with multiple cross-functional teams to drive the product forward, from concept design to implementation and adoption.

We are looking for a strong problem solver, clear communicator, and team player, with a mindset to utilize data to drive decisions and consensus across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Definition: Understand the business need through stakeholder engagement.

  • Product Deployment: Collaborate with the functional teams (data science, software engineering, database engineering, application management, etc.) to ensure end-to-end delivery of the product; Identify dependencies and/or opportunities for collaboration while following core Agile principles.

  • Data governance and controls: Be vigilant in adhering to CCB's data use, privacy, legal, and compliance guidelines.

  • Use Case Development: Facilitate use case & requirements definition, design, testing, and implementation of new data assets and technology-driven capabilities that address specific customer experience and servicing needs.

  • Domain-Driven Design: Actively participate in Domain-Driven Design sessions along with technical teams and architects

  • Roadmaps: Contribute to the development of strategic roadmaps for the Customer Interaction domain that describe a sequence of projects to improve management, utility and availability of customer interaction data to address business concerns and strategic objectives.

  • Epic/Story Development: Author epics and stories, work with aligned feature teams to refine requirements, design solutions, develop success criteria, and drive change required to deliver on business goals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years with hands-on product management experience, technology consulting, or relevant transferrable skills

  • Exerpence working in agile and lean methodologies, including writing lean user stories and requirements that drive efficient development with technology partners

  • Self-motivated team player with advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Must possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information

  • Superior written and oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences - across business and technology partners

  • Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous tasks on track

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Experience with data big data technologies, such as Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, etc.

  • Financial services and retail banking background is a plus
