JPMorgan Chase Fraud Strategy Associate in Tampa, Florida

The Corporate Investment Banking Payments Operations team is the largest cash management provider globally. Payments Operations strives to provide the best operational services to support the financial industry as measured by our customers, shareholders and fellow employees. The Payments Operations organization and core functions achieve service excellence through Client Focus, Technology solutions and Work force innovation.

As a Fraud Strategy Associate in Corporate Investment Banking you will support the Global Payments Fraud Operations program Strategy team, working in partnership with Operations, Technology and Product to continually identify abnormal transaction behavior and implement technology/process/policy enhancements to protect the firm and client interests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee deliverables for the Reporting and Analytics team

  • Complete Ad-Hoc reporting Daily, weekly, monthly

  • Document and package status updates and proposals to senior management

  • Perform data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, and problem solving

  • Develop and apply algorithms and models with ability to clearly explain them to Management, Operations and Technology teams

  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations to develop requirements and implement new capabilities

  • Engage to mitigate risk through continuous process improvement, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Operations teams

  • Develop presentations for senior executives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx or other BI tools

  • Display strong analytical and communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, look-up functions, etc.)

  • Proficient with other Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Word)

  • Enhanced Capability to Communicate and influence Senior Executives

  • Ability to organize and analyze complex financial data in a fast-paced environment

  • Problem solving, good critical thinking, and decision-making skills

  • Understanding of Business Process/modeling concepts

  • Leverage creative analytical problem-solving skills while using large data sets from a broad range of sources

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Domain experience in fraud detection / anomaly detection

  • Proficiency with querying enterprise databases using SQL to obtain relevant data for analysis

  • Experience with Python or R to perform statistical analyses

  • Proven strong analytical and communication skills

  • Experience working in Amazon Web Service cloud environment

  • Aptitude and curiosity for developing machine learning solutions to solve business problems
