As a Product Manager in Digital Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Acquiring Platforms & Rails helps millions of companies of all sizes to grow their businesses by providing end-to-end payment processing experience, including funding in an array of settlement currencies across the globe. Clients can get quickly integrate with our platform with simplified APIs and also receive business insights using advanced API interfaces. In APR, we have blended Product and Technology organizations to ideate and develop state of the art products and services for our clients using the cloud-based modern platform that caters to the best in class experience for our clients.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers

  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap

  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition

  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability

  • Collaborates with engineering and design partners periodically to assess and optimize processes to improve team running

  • Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap

  • Provides production support for clients including troubleshooting client issues, defect management and client escalations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics

  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Knowledge of Payments products (Payment Rails, Receivables, Merchant Services)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis; strong organizational skills and detail-orientation

  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and create business/project plans that can be executed against with strong business cases

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills (both written and verbal); ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and collaborate across teams

  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.

  • Experience documenting requirements and articulating use cases in well written EPICs and User Stories

  • Work incredibly well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment including partnering with Product, Sales, Analytics and Design teams to recognize key growth areas for the business and emerging client needs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.

  • Experience working with multi-level management and groups.

  • Scrum Experience is a plus

  • Experience with the Agile Delivery of products
