JPMorgan Chase UX Designer in Westerville, Ohio

We are the Corporate Technology research team in JPMC's User Experience (UX) Center of Excellence . We are looking for a highly creative, passionate, and driven user experience researcher to join our team focused on enterprise systems and legal related applications to create a better experience for our global network of employees.

This UX Designer role requires a deep understanding of experience design for digital products and services of all kinds, sizes, shapes and contexts.

A user-centric view is paramount for the role, while providing simple and innovative experiences for our internal users. You will be working in a fast-paced environment to deliver new experiences through effective artifacts (customer journeys, wireframes). A balanced understanding of strategy, research, interaction and visual design is a must for the role. The successful candidate will be able to work with tech teams, business, researchers and other UX Designers to solve complex workflows and functionality in an agile environment. This is a UX Design position – research skills are a bonus. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for working on flowcharts, wireframes, prototypes and UI designs based on our existing design system.

Finally, you are a customer experience advocate and leader, excited about improving day-to-day tasks through simple, intelligent and enriching experiences.

  • 5 years of UX Design with BFA or BA in related field

  • Effective communication of design solutions across roles & levels

  • Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences

  • Proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design and wireframe development

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment

  • Actively listens, hears and understands what is said and not said, and with nuanced comprehension of meaning and intent

  • Flexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)

  • Familiar with Sketch and InVision are a must. Adobe CC (Adobe XD) and Axure are a plus.
