JPMorgan Chase Asset & Wealth Management- Quality Assurance Reporting and Business Intelligence Team - Vice President in Wilmington, Delaware
The Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Business Quality Assurance team monitors globally for the front-office activities on behalf of the International Private Bank, as well as US Private Bank. We are currently seeking a VP level candidate to lead multiple complex data mining projects pertaining to AWM brokerage data. The individual will be part of the Controls Management Organization Quality Assurance MIS team (CMO QA) responsible for defining the QA monitoring universe (Population). In addition, the individual will be responsible for translating the defined data queries, and data collection method into technology requirements coordinating with the WM Business, IT, and CMO QA functional partners.
The successful candidate should have proven ability to create complex data queries for large scale data collection. In addition, the individual is expected to research data lineage for Orders, and Trades across multiple booking systems and asset classes within AWM. The candidate will also possess strong leadership skills and technical competency to ensure proper identification and execution QA requirements within the BQA Connect application.
Develop a good understanding of business processes and systems involved
Identify, understand, and maintain the meaning, relationships, and valid values of the key data elements in various applications and/or data sources related to business processes
Work with business, technology, and control teams to identify and validate full data populations for quality assurance activities
Lead the development and execution of multi-year program deliverables related to QA population identification, and data strategy
Define reusable approaches and sustainable processes to translate business and operational requirements to data queries
Develop subject matter expertise in AWM data system of records that are input to the QA population
Maintain strong network with key stakeholders including AWM Business Management, Technology, Controls and Compliance
Serve as a key point of escalation and liaise with technology partners to resolve issues where required
Partner with stakeholders and Controls Management to ensure appropriate control environment and manage/advise on escalated issues
Solicit input from business constituents and achieve long-term strategic solutions for business partners
8+ years of technical responsibilities including MIS and/or Data Management experience.
Management and development experience with a wide-array of solutions including: SQL-based tools (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, MS Access), Business Intelligence tools (Alteryx, Tableau).
Experience and interest in data mining leveraging analytical tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Structured Query Language (SQL)
Excellent data analysis skills with ability to apply knowledge to new situations
Strong leadership and relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and ability to network across both business and technology organizations
Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Flexible and adaptable in response to changing demands
Experience in WM Data and Analytics is a plus
