The Operations Finance VP is a member of the Consumer Community Bank’s Finance team supporting the Collections function within Operations. The Operations Finance team serves as a strategic analytical resource to help senior executives understand, manage, forecast and plan the financial profitability of the business. The group is responsible for managing annual budget/mid-year forecast, monthly reporting, expense management, and a range of strategic analysis and projects.

The Operations Finance Manager:

  • Prepares monthlyfinancial reporting including variance and expense analysis andinitiatives tracking. Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concisestory around business drivers behind financial data and potentialimplications on future results.

  • Supports the monthlyfinancial close processes through collaboration with Accounting, Planning& Analysis, and Operations

  • Supports annualbudget & forecast processes, incorporating business initiatives,business trends and operational effectiveness. Connects budget to businessstrategies and gains alignment from business partners

  • Proactively analyzes trends,researches issues and responds to inquiries

  • Identifies and communicatesopportunities and risks

  • Prepares & delivers presentationsand supporting materials for Collections and Auto Finance Ops leads

  • Ensures data integrity and accuracyin all reporting and forecasting across the team

  • Coordinates vendor activities toinclude quarterly reviews and expense approvals

  • Manages Auto Ops stress testingprocess (methodology, results, controls, and documentation)

  • Bachelors degree inAccounting/Finance/Economics or other related majors - MBA preferred

  • 5+ years inFinance/Accounting, management consulting or other financial/analyticroles

  • Experience in planning,forecasting, budgeting

  • Strong quantitative, criticalthinking and analytic skills, confidence with finance and accountingconcepts, understanding of financial statements, has the ability tocomprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced,dynamic environment and provide strong documentation

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal andwritten communication skills - ability to synthesize financial informationinto concise, insightful and actionable recommendations, comfortableinteracting with and presenting to all levels of management.

  • Strong judgment, professionalmaturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive andresults-oriented, fact based, challenges the status quo and managesmultiple tasks simultaneously

  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel andPowerPoint/ PitchPro, Essbase and Tableau (preferred)
