The Digital User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team is at the heart of driving transformation in the Digital space, focused on testing through the development of innovative banking offerings that transform the customer experiences, simplifying the ways we do business, and tirelessly driving toward product excellence.

We are seeking a highly motivated UAT Test Manager to play an active role in leading execution of testing against our roadmap. This role will work with cross-disciplinary teams including product, design, technology and service delivery teams to develop robust test strategies and drive test planning, execution, and reporting.

A successful candidate will be passionate about disciplined test execution in an Agile framework, with a strong desire to deliver impactful user experiences to our customers by managing a team of testers and partnering with product owners to drive test strategy and execution across large, highly visible initiatives. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing a team of testers

  • Participating in sprint reviews, product feature reviews and product backlog refinement sessions to understand testing impacts

  • Providing input into assessment of risks to testing and ensuring test team alignment

  • Providing guidance to testers on UAT methodologies, processes and standards – including traceability, root cause analysis, execution status, defect deferral process, etc.

  • Overseeing development of UAT artifacts including test plan, test reports, defect reports, risk assessments, and trace matrices and ensuring they are in alignment with defined standards

  • Reviewing test cases and supervising execution of test cases and results

  • Publishing daily testing updates and metrics

  • Driving defect triage

  • Regularly reviewing deferred/aging defects to ensure they are being incorporated in future backlogs

  • Ownership of accuracy and quality of test metrics, including traceability from requirements through test cases and defects, and all results in Test and Defect Dashboards

  • Ensuring data integrity and quality of test plans, test cases, defects; enforces JIRA standards and hygiene including traceability

Qualifications

You: a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment, with a desire to ensure that the products you test not only work, but work well . Other things you should bring to the table:

  • Minimum5 years of experience in a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Quality Assurance leadership/people management role, with an understanding of how UAT and QA differ

  • JIRA experience - you know how to navigate JIRA, create issues, and have an understanding of more advanced capabilities such as creating dashboards and complex queries using JQL

  • A strong understanding oftesting methodologies and best practices as they relate to the Product Development Life Cycle

  • Experience in thecreation of detailed end-to-end, functional and regression test cases, and skill in executing against them

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile project methodologies

  • Hands-on experience conducting both Web and Mobile testing of external customer-facing products and services

  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task & handle multiple assignments

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test

  • Passion for online & mobile technology and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies

  • Written and verbal communication skills – able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner

  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience
