JPMorgan Chase Lead Software Engineer (AS-GRE Tech Platform Services) in Wilmington, Delaware

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within the Corporate Sector (Amenity Services & Global Real Estate Technology), you are an integral part of an agile team. You'll build, enhance, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable market-leading technology products. Your technical contributions will support the firm's objectives and offer a unique opportunity for career growth within a global financial institution.
Job Responsibilities
Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Primarily hands-on development of new platforms in a cloud-based environment
Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s) such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot
Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Proficient in micro services architecture
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
Practical cloud native experience•

Preferred experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
Preferred experience with web-based hosting services such as Github
Preferred experience with SSO tools such as IDAnywhere
Preferred experience with data exchange services such as Apigee/API Gateway•
