JPMorgan Chase Lead Software Engineer in Wilmington, Delaware

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will deliver high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will be working on latest cloud enabled technologies and providing technology solutions for firm wide content management platform.

You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

You will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules and automated testing.

You will adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.

You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues and provide feedback to the final user documentation. Additionally, you will lead the talent recruiting efforts, manage performance and guide the career developers. You'll perform frequent performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to your team and peers.

10+ years of overall experience in software engineering 3+ years in leading development

• 5+ years of leading development effort, developers and providing full end to end solutions

• A thinker of good architecture, design, resiliency and stability in the software

• 7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE programming, Spring Framework and design techniques and web applications/REST APIs

• Hands on with version control practices, Continuous Integration tools e.g. Jenkins

• Working Knowledge of cloud technologies

• Hands on with relational databases e.g. Oracle or MS Sql Server

• Agile based software development experience

• Knowledge Good to have knowledge of Big data platforms e.g. MongoDB or Cassandra

• Good to have experience with Angular or similar UI technologies

• Prior financial or banking experience is a plus
