JPMorgan Chase Senior Java Software Engineer Lead in Wilmington, Delaware

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Duties for this role include: -Contributes and leads in an area of development of the Enterprise Contact Center Inbound voice channel, guiding and mentoring junior developers, working with the leads from other domains aligned to the Firm's investments in Digital, Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, AI, and Robotic Process Automation. -Creates and maintain relationships between the lines of business and the development team. -Determines application's full functionality through keen analysis of business and data requirements. - Provides strategic thought leadership to application development. -Plans, architects, designs, analyzes, and programs to satisfy business requirements for large, complex, multi-tier projects utilizing a broad range of technologies (including some internal to Chase) . -Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies, data management policies, leading presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, best practice development (e.g., estimating models), mentoring less experienced team members, code reviews as needed. -Team player and self-starter with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. - Positive attitude to self-learn and mentor others on new and relevant skills/technologies -Team contribution and mentoring; ensuring to help the development team work as efficiently as possible. -Build SME knowledge and technical capability with recommendations to help backlog prioritization. - Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance following the firms guidelines and practices on each step.

Experience with : Java/J2EE/Javascript/JSON/XML/Scripting Linux, Web services (SOAP and REST), MQ, OOP/OOD Application design patterns, Middleware design patterns, Microservices architecture, Chase Photon Framework (Chase internal), Open Source technologies/libraries (Spring, Log4J, Apache Commons, Kafka, Cassandra, ...), VoiceXML/ASR/TTS Chase IVR Application Framework (Chase internal), Agile/Scrum/TDD/Peer Programming, Cloud Technologies (GAIA (Chase internal), AWS), Kubernetes (GKP (Chase internal)), ADFS, CI/CD, Kafka, Cassandra.
